Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an accident involving an off-road vehicle in the area of County Road 75A in DeKalb County.

Reports from officials indicate that Jeffery Lepper of Saint Joe, was on a four wheeler when his ATV leaves the roadway, hitting a fence, and then into a tree. The vehicle then rolled and pinned Lepper underneath of it.

Lepper was treated on-scene by medical personnel and taken to an area hospital. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident which remains under investigation.
