Goshen Man Arrested In LaGrange on Meth Possession Charge
Wednesday, September 18, 2019

A Goshen man looking for an open gas station couldn’t catch a break.

LaGrange County deputies were standing in the parking lot of the Marathon station in Lagrange around 11:40 last night. A vehicle driven by 29-year-old Derrick Hall of Goshen pulled into the Miller’s gas station next door. Upon seeing that Miller’s was closed, Hall asked the deputies for directions to the nearest open gas station.

While they were giving directions the officers noticed the odor of marijuana coming from Hall’s vehicle. That led to a search which allegedly turned up methamphetamine.

Deputies gave Hall a ride to the Lagrange County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of meth.
