FORT WAYNE, IN - Purdue University Fort Wayne is updating its mask protocols on campus later this month.

Effective Monday, June 28, those who are fully vaccinated don't need to wear a mask inside campus buildings or outdoors.

PFW adopted a mask mandate in May 2020 as a way to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The university is not requiring students and staff to get vaccinated against the virus, but officials are strongly recommending the shots.

They're asking all students and employees to complete an anonymous survey on their vaccination status.
