Patches of fog, dense in spots, have formed across the area this morning.
The National Weather Service says patchy dense shallow ground fog will result in locally reduced visibilities. If travelling, be alert for sudden reductions in visibility.
Visibilities in some locations were down to a quarter mile. Conditions will improve shortly after sunrise.
If you are traveling, slow down and allow for extra time to reach your destination. If dense fog is encountered, use your low beams, reduce speed, and increase following distance.
