(ALLEN COUNTY) – Authorities have released the names of two people killed in a weekend roll over crash.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office says the two victims are 25 year old Samaria Newbolt and 6 year old Nalani Ervins. Both died form multiple blunt force injuries that happened in the crash, and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to I-69 south near the 320 mile marker just before 8 PM Saturday. The investigation determined that an SUV was heading south just north of Union Chapel Road when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail and rolled over.
Another adult and two more juveniles were injured in the crash. They were all taken to an area hospital where one of the juveniles is listed in critical condition. The other juvenile and the second adult sustained serious injuries.
The matter is still being investigated.
