A Battle Creek man was injured in a one vehicle crash in Cass County's LaGrange Township.
Sheriff's Deputies say at 9 PM Wednesday, 36 year old Ardee Mabry was driving
east on Pokagon Highway near Oak Grove Road, when for an unknown reason his
vehicle left the roadway and struck three trees. His auto then went into a field and could not be seen.
Mabry was able to crawl to the road and was spotted by a motorist who assisted
him until deputies arrived. Mabry was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac by Life Care Ambulance. Deputies say he was wearing his seatbelt and his airbag did deploy.
Also assisting was the Casospolis Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation.
