After serving customers for the past decade, the owners of the Mad Anthony’s Lakeview Ale House on Lake James have decided to close the eatery.
The decision to close the restaurant was announced on the Mad Anthony website and Facebook page.
The post stated: “We have made the decision to permanently close our Mad Anthony’s Angola Lakeview Ale House and Reception Hall. This decision was not an easy one as we enjoyed serving guests in Angola and around the lakes area for the last ten years. Staffing and the current climate of the industry has proven to be a challenge to say the least. We hope that you will come visit us at one of our other six locations. Once again, we thank you for your patronage over the last ten years.”
Mad Anthony Brewing Company was founded in 1999 with the purchase of the Munchie Emporium located at Taylor and Broadway in Fort Wayne. In addition to the original location, Mad Anthony also has restaurants in Auburn and Warsaw.
