The National Weather Service says there is a marginal risk for severe storms this afternoon and evening (2-9PM EDT) across much of our listening area. Primary threats include damaging winds and frequent lightning.

Otherwise, it will be slightly cooler with less humid conditions for the weekend with highs in the 80s.
