ANGOLA, IN – The recently held 9th annual Crooked Lake Sandbar Music Festival raise a substantial amount of money this year for a local animal non-profit.
Organizers of the annual love music festival presented a check for $23,000 to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County. The festival also donated $1,000 each to the Crooked Lake Association and the Steuben County Parks and Campground.
The annual event takes place each summer in July on a stage completely surrounded by water at the Crooked Lake sandbar. Anyone who attends, including the entertainment, have to take a boat to get to the concert, which featured roughly 12 bands this year.
