ANGOLA - Students from the Impact Institute's welding program have designed and constructed a "Sunflower," sculpture for downtown Angola for the Mayors Art Council project, "Sculptures Angola."
The Impact students created a piece they named, “The Sunflower.”
Their piece is sponsored by the Steuben County Tourism Bureau.
Three other sculptures will be join the Sunflower include Daphne by Gregory Mendez, sponsored by LINKS Creative Alliance, Welcome by Greg Summers sponsored by Cameron Memorial Community Hospital and Almost Infinity by Maureen Gray and sponsored by Univertical.
The sculptures will be on display around Public Square starting on June 3rd.
