(ANGOLA) – It was another successful WLKI Pie Auction in 2024.
The annual eight hour event that ran from 6 AM until 2 PM Wednesday, auctioned off 113 homemade pies that were donated by Steuben County community organizations.
Just after 2 PM, WLKI’s Andy St. John and Mike Wood of the Angola Police Department announced the grand total. LINKC.
That includes the just over $10,000 that was collected during a drive up donation at the Country Fair Shopping Center, where First Responders accepted donations. Anyone who made a contribution received a pie.

The highest bid was $4,000 for the French Cream Pie donated by Vestil Manufacturing. The Trine University and Bon Appetit package of a triple berry pie and a Dutch apple pie with additional Trine University items went for $3,000.
A brown sugar pie and homemade brownies from WLKI’s Andy St. John was auctioned off for $1,175.
