(UNDATED) – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the listening area.
The National Weather Service has issued the Winter Weather Advisory for St. Joseph, Cass, Branch and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan along with LaGrange, Steuben, Noble, Elkhart and DeKalb Counties in Indiana from 7 PM Wednesday until 10 AM Thursday.
Freezing rain is expected in the area with total ice accumulations of five hundredths of an inch to around one tenth of an inch.
Difficult travel conditions are possible and the hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute. Please remember to slow down and use caution while traveling.
In addition when going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
