(LAGRANGE) – In their regular season finale, the host Lakeland Lakers lost to Jimtown 44-34 in non conference football action. Carson Mickem led the ground game for the Lakers with 22 carries for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns. Braydon Holbrook was 23 of 39 for 236 yards and a touchdown, plus he ran 9 times for 2 yards and another score. Myles Edwards had 10 receptions for 94 yards and a TD. Drannon Miller had 9 tackles for the Lakers and Mickem had 7 tackles. Lakeland ends the regular season at 5-4, and will take on Garrett in a 3A Sectional opening round game.
