(ANGOLA) - Trine University is opening the doors to Thunder Ice Arena this weekend and inviting the community to enjoy a free afternoon on the ice.
The university will host a free public skating event on Saturday, January 10, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The event is open to all ages, and free mini skating lessons will be available for anyone looking to learn or brush up on the basics.
Organizers say no experience is required -- participants can simply show up, lace up, and skate. Space is limited, and advance sign-up is encouraged.
Here's a link to the SIGN-UP FORM.
The event offers a low-key midday break, a family-friendly outing, or a chance for first-time skaters to give it a try -- all at no cost to the community.
