Branch Co Sheriff's Office Seeks Public's Help After Second Library Break-In

(SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP) - The Branch County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help as it investigates a late-night burglary at the Sherwood Library.

Deputies say the break-in occurred around midnight on Jan. 15, when an unidentified individual forced entry into the library and stole several items. Authorities have not released a description of the suspect or the stolen property.

The incident is especially concerning for investigators and library staff, as it marks the second break-in at the Sherwood Library in recent months, raising concerns about repeat criminal activity at the facility.

The Sheriff's Office is urging anyone who may recognize the individual involved or who has information related to the burglary to come forward.
