Indiana State Police Announce 2026 Summer Camps for Youth Across the State

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana State Police has released dates and locations for its 2026 Summer Camp Program, offering multiple hands-on camps designed to introduce young Hoosiers to law enforcement, leadership, and public service.

The program includes Pioneer Camps, Law Camps, Career Camps, and the Shield Project, each tailored to specific age groups and grade levels.

Pioneer Camps, open by recommendation only for youth ages 11 to 14, will be held:

  • Mounds Park Camp: June 8-11, 2026
  • Mollenhour Camp: June 29-July 2, 2026

Law Camps, designed for students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, include:

  • Columbus Law Camp (Columbus): July 7-11, 2026
  • Anderson Law Camp (Anderson): June 28-July 1, 2026

Career Camps, aimed at high school students interested in law enforcement careers, are scheduled for:

  • Vincennes Career Camp: June 21-26, 2026
  • Trine Career Camp (Angola): July 5-10, 2026
  • Anderson Cadet Camp: June 21-27, 2026

The Shield Project, a college-level experience, will take place at Anderson College from June 3-7, 2026.

Indiana State Police say the camps focus on leadership development, teamwork, physical fitness, and exposure to policing careers through hands-on activities led by troopers and instructors.
