(ADRIAN) - Closing arguments are expected Thursday in the murder trial of Dale Warner, who is accused of killing his wife, Dee Warner.

The trial resumed Tuesday for its 12th day in Lenawee County.

Dee Warner, 52, was reported missing from her Lenawee County home in April 2021. Authorities later found her body welded inside an anhydrous ammonia tank in August 2024 on property owned by Dale Warner.

Prosecutors have charged Dale Warner with murder and evidence tampering.

During testimony, Dee Warner's brother, Gregg Hardy, told the court he offered a reward for information leading to the discovery of her remains and said he believed she would not have left her children without explanation.

Other witnesses included Dale Warner's ex-wife, Julie Bock, and farm manager Todd Neyrinck, who testified about Dee Warner's behavior in the days before she disappeared.

The judge also denied a defense motion to dismiss the case, ruling there was enough evidence for the trial to continue.
