(ANGOLA) - The Steuben County Humane Society has announced the appointment of a new shelter manager.

Faith Robison has been named manager of the organization, bringing several years of animal care and leadership experience to the role.

Robison previously worked at Lewis Century Stock Farms as calf barn manager, where she administered vaccines, performed minor medical procedures and oversaw daily animal care operations. She most recently served as a farm and operations manager at Rural King, gaining additional management experience while working closely with the agricultural and animal care community.

Humane Society officials say Robison has long been connected to the Steuben County community through her professional work and her passion for animal welfare.

Robison said the shelter's mission is to provide care, compassion and second chances for animals that arrive lost, frightened or in need of new homes.

The Steuben County Humane Society encourages community support through pet adoptions, volunteering and donations to help care for animals and connect them with families across the region.
