DeKalb Community Foundation Names New Administrative Coordinator

(AUBURN) - The Community Foundation DeKalb County has hired Kaitlin Sheets as its new administrative services coordinator.

Sheets will oversee daily office operations and provide administrative support for the foundation's staff, donors and community partners.

Sheets is a graduate of Valparaiso University, where she earned a degree in health care leadership with minors in business and psychology.

She most recently served as director of business services at the YMCA of Steuben County in Angola, where she managed accounting, payroll, donor relations and board support.

Sheets also worked as a Rock Steady boxing coach and administrator, leading a fitness program for individuals living with Parkinson's disease.

Foundation officials say her experience working with nonprofit programs and community members will support the organization's continued work across DeKalb County.

The Community Foundation DeKalb County is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting community philanthropy and is marking 30 years of service in 2026.
