(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana Michigan Power has received final approval to purchase a major natural gas facility in Ohio.
The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission has signed off on the company's plan to acquire the Oregon Clean Energy Center--an 870-megawatt natural gas plant located in Oregon, Ohio. I&M expects to take ownership in March. The plant is projected to help meet rising power demand across the utility's service area.
