(ANGOLA) - Steuben County voters will have a chance to hear directly from candidates in a wide range of contested races during the Angola Area Chamber of Commerce's Meet the Candidates Night on Thursday, April 9 at Glendarin Hills Golf Course.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with the question-and-answer portion beginning at 6 p.m.
The forum will include candidates in contested races for U.S. Representative, State House Districts 51 and 52, county prosecutor, sheriff, surveyor, Pleasant and Salem township trustee, and Fremont Town Council.
June Julien, executive director of the Steuben County Tourism Bureau, will serve as moderator for the evening.
Questions were submitted in advance by chamber members and narrowed by the chamber's issues committee.
Organizers say unopposed candidates will be introduced but will not take questions.
Light refreshments will be available, and those who would like dinner can order from a limited menu before the event begins.
