(HAMILTON) - Fire departments from across the area responded Sunday to a fully involved barn fire near Hamilton.
The Ashley-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department says it was dispatched on mutual aid April 12 to assist crews at the scene.
When firefighters arrived, they found the barn fully engulfed in flames.
Crews confirmed no people or animals were inside the structure at the time of the fire.
Multiple departments worked together to bring the fire under control and keep it from spreading beyond the barn.
Fire officials say the response underscored the importance of mutual aid partnerships and coordinated regional fire response.
