(COLDWATER) - Volunteers are being called out today for the annual Downtown Earth Month Cleanup in Coldwater.
The event begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Four Corners fire pit, where participants will gather for a group photo, location assignments, and cleanup tasks.
Organizers say volunteers will pick up trash and sticks in parking lots, sidewalks, and alcoves as the city prepares for a busy season of festivals and events.
Gloves and some tools will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own.
No registration is required--volunteers can simply show up and help.
A thank-you pizza dinner will be held at 5:00 p.m. for those who take part, courtesy of Broadway Grille.
