(COLDWATER) - Thousands of rubber ducks will take to the Coldwater River this weekend as the 33rd Annual John Rohloff-Coldwater Noon Exchange Club Duck Race returns to Waterworks Park.
The event is scheduled for Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to the duck race, organizers have planned food vendors, children's activities and other family-friendly entertainment throughout the afternoon.
The featured duck drop is scheduled for approximately 1:15 p.m.
Community members can purchase duck race tickets for $5 each through Exchange Club members and participating business sponsors up until launch time.
The winning duck will earn a grand prize of $2,026. More than two dozen additional prizes will also be awarded, including cash prizes, gift certificates and golf memberships.
The annual fundraiser began in 1993 and benefits community organizations and civic projects throughout Branch County.
