(ANGOLA) - Family activities, livestock events, children's programs and live entertainment highlight Tuesday's schedule at the Steuben County 4-H Fair.
Tuesday is designated as Family Fun Day, sponsored by Cameron Memorial Community Hospital and Steuben County REMC. Gates are being operated by the Steuben County Democratic and Republican parties.
The day begins with the 4-H Dairy Goat Show at 9 a.m. and continues with a variety of children's activities, including story time, a coloring contest, craft time, carnival games, a pedal tractor pull and a pet parade.
The Steuben YMCA will host its Safety Around Water program at the beach from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the Steuben County Extension Quilters will offer a DIY quilt block sewing lab throughout much of the day.
Afternoon highlights include a foam and bubble party, old-fashioned games and contests, the 4-H Horse and Pony Show, and Animal Grams' petting zoo and pig races.
The 101 Lakes Kiwanis Club will serve a chicken and noodles dinner beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Evening events include the 4-H Livestock Costume Contest at 6:30 p.m. and a free concert by The Hubie Ashcraft Band from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
The Steuben County 4-H Fair continues through June 25 at the Steuben County Community Center and Fairgrounds.
