Trine Giving Tuesday Campaign Wins International Marketing Award

(ANGOLA) - A Trine University fundraising campaign that helped bring in more than $140,000 has earned international recognition.

The university's "Our Trine. Our Future." Giving Tuesday campaign received a bronze 2026 Circle of Excellence Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Leah Reiniche, a digital marketing specialist in Trine's Office of Marketing and Communications, developed and carried out the campaign.

It used a series of social media posts and emails over about two-and-a-half weeks to encourage support from alumni, donors and community partners.

Award judges noted that giving increased 16 percent without any additional cost.

The campaign was honored in the Marketing Initiatives category for institutions with communications staffs of 10 to 25 people.

Trine Assistant Vice President for Content and Communications James Tew credited Reiniche, the university's design team and the Office of University Advancement for the result.

This year, 628 institutions from 33 countries submitted 4,185 entries for the Circle of Excellence Awards. Judges selected 493 entries for bronze, silver, gold or grand gold recognition.
