(DEKALB COUNTY) - A Florida woman was taken to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency and crashing Tuesday afternoon in DeKalb County.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office reports 41-year-old Heather Miller of Naples, Florida, was driving north in the 2300 block of County Road 9 around 4:40 p.m. when she experienced a medical emergency.
Her 2008 Lincoln MKZ left the east side of the road and appeared to roll over before coming to rest in a field.
Miller reported left shoulder pain and a possible head injury. She was taken to the hospital by Parkview EMS for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled.
The Corunna Fire Department, DeKalb County Central Communications, Parkview EMS and Riverside Towing assisted at the scene.
