FREMONT, Ind. (WLKI)- Fremont Community Schools will kick off the 2026-2027 school year Tuesday, Aug. 4, with district-wide registration and a freshman orientation event for incoming high school students.
District-wide in-person registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families are encouraged to stop by to complete any remaining paperwork, pick up student schedules and make sure they are prepared for the first day of classes.
The district will also host freshman orientation at Fremont High School from 5 to 6 p.m. Incoming freshmen will have the opportunity to pick up their schedules, set up lockers, tour the school and become more familiar with the building before the start of the school year.
Fremont Community Schools said the events are designed to help students and families begin the new school year prepared and comfortable.
The district welcomes students, staff and families back for the 2026-2027 school year and looks forward to another successful year of learning.
