WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLKI)- Four people are facing drug charges following the execution of a search warrant early Friday morning in Cass County.
At approximately 12:04 a.m. Friday, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, assisted by the Cass County Sheriff's Office and K-9 Charlie from Van Buren
County, conducted a search at a residence in the 50,000 block of Green Lake Street in Wayne Township.
During the search, detectives reportedly found approximately 1.7 grams of methamphetamine along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
A 71-year-old woman was arrested on charges of maintaining a drug house and possession of methamphetamine.
Three additional people were arrested on possession of methamphetamine charges. They include a 51-year-old woman, a 44-year-old man and a 45-year-old man.
Authorities have not released the names of those arrested. Their identities are being withheld pending arraignment in Cass County 4th District Court.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information may be released as the case progresses.
