BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WLKI) - The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will return to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2027.
The TSPORT 200 is scheduled for Friday, July 23, as part of NASCAR's newly released national series schedule.
According to Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, the event will mark the sixth consecutive year the Truck Series has competed at the Brownsburg facility.
TSPORT will return as the race's title sponsor in 2027.
The TSPORT 200 will remain a 200-lap race covering approximately 137.2 miles around the track's 0.686-mile oval.
"We are thrilled to announce the return of the TSPORT 200 and the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series in 2027," raceway General Manager Rollie Miller said.
Miller described the nighttime event as one of the highlights of the track's annual racing calendar.
"This event is certainly one of the can't-miss events on the calendar, and we look forward to celebrating great racing under the lights next July," Miller said.
The Truck Series event will begin a NASCAR weekend in the Indianapolis area.
Following the July 23 race in Brownsburg, the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR Cup Series are scheduled to compete at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 24 and 25.
Specific start times and additional weekend information have not yet been announced.
The raceway plans to release details about 2027 ticket renewals and event information in mid-September.
Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park opened in 1960 and hosts more than 100 event days annually.
The facility includes the short-track oval and a quarter-mile drag strip. It hosts NASCAR, the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals, USAC events and other racing competitions.
Located about 10 miles from downtown Indianapolis, the raceway welcomes more than 500,000 racers and spectators each year.
The National Hot Rod Association has owned and operated the facility since 1979.
