QUINCY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLKI)- A 17-year-old girl was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after falling from a horse in Quincy Township.
Branch County deputies were called at about 3:21 p.m. to the intersection of Schultz and Boone roads.
According to the Branch County Sheriff's Office, the girl was riding a horse when the animal became uncontrollable, causing her to fall.
She was transported by Marshall Area Ambulance Authority to Insight Coldwater Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The Quincy Fire Department and Branch County Central Dispatch also assisted at the scene.
