(GOSHEN) – A van crashed into a building, killing one person.

The Goshen Police Department says at 5:45 PM Saturday, a vehicle struck a building near the intersection of Industrial Parkway Drive and Eisenhower Drive South. Witnesses told officers that the van hit the building and then burst into flames.

The driver, 68 year old Joseph Higgins Jr. of Elkhart died at the scene.

Police say they aren't sure what led to the accident, which is still under investigation.
